Book Summary

Audial telepath Kylie Cain works for a black ops branch of the CIA (PSI: Psychic Sensory Intelligence). Now tasked with the biggest challenge of her life when a faction of rogue operatives who call themselves WON (World Order Now) kidnap eleven-year-old Hope Mitchell, a powerful girl who may be the link to other worlds, Kylie feels immediately drawn to the girl's energy, and vows to save her.

Kylie's elite team of psychic spies soon discover that not only is Hope Mitchell an audial telepath, too, but the girl has another special gift - a gift that could change the courses of the past, present and future. A gift that could open up worlds...and destroy them.

My Thoughts

Very interesting start to a trilogy! A villain who funds terrorist attacks, befriends drug lords and is into anything illegal include human slavery gotta make for an exciting read. The main character is a kiss ass tequila-drinking female federal agent who's tougher than I can even imagine being. This particular team she's part of is a branch of the CIA consisting of people with unique abilities. Psychic abilities. Nice!

I enjoyed delving into the fringe science and the talk of parallel universes. I did get lost a little during the explanation but that's all my fault not the authors. It was dumbed down best as they could. :)

Super fast paced and non-stop action can be expected if you pick this one up. Its short, only 130 pages so its a fast read. Will definitely read #2 soon or wait for the trilogy to come out all at once. I'm invested and want to find out how things go.
