Book Summary

Shaken to her core by a horrible crime, Jennifer Blake has moved across the state to the little town of Stockton, hoping to find some peace. But when you're a psychic with a knack for tapping into the minds of killers, there's nowhere you can run.

Now Jen must put aside the trauma of past failures to take on the biggest challenge of her life: a killer who can read her thoughts as easily as she can his.

My Thoughts

This book is exactly why I love indie author writing. Content some authors will shy away from, Chambers expertly pens it so it becomes background info to develop the characters and doesn't take away from the overall plot of the story. A little more background on the significance of the Norse mythology to the villain earlier in the story would have been helpful, however, I suspected it would be there given the title of the book. In fact, I think the title is what attracted me to the book in the first place. I thoroughly enjoyed this style of writing and will most definitely be reading more from this author.
